Monopoly, one roll ahead

Roll the dice and watch where the next one can put you, after every Chance and Community Chest card has been resolved. Where turns end over an unending game is solved rather than sampled — the answer a simulation of these rules gets closer and closer to, taken directly.

Every reading on the board is defined in the glossary, and any dotted term explains itself on hover.

Your piece. Dots beside it count doubles in a row — three sends you to Jail.
What this does and does not model

No economy. No money, rent, property, houses or trading — none of it moves the piece, and where the piece goes is the only thing measured here.

Jail is served, not paid.Three attempts at doubles, then the fine. The choice moves Jail’s share by several points, and the published frequency tables these figures match assume the same thing.

Cards are drawn fresh. Not from a pile that gets used up before it is reshuffled. Each card comes up equally often either way — but tracking a pile would make the honest answer for the next card 0% or 100%, depending on what you had already seen.
